Swim Meet Information Packet
Rip-Tides Swim Team Meet Requirements
Dual Meet Requirements:
- Five Dual meets during the competitive swimming season, attendance at three of the five dual meets is required.
- Parents will be required to volunteer at the home meets, the positions are very easy, will be thoroughly explained, and will go as follows
- Timers, Parents to Line up Swimmers, Snack Stand Attendants
- We will also ask parents to donate snacks to our concession stands as well
A reminder about our new Structure:
- Due to the capacity limits in our pool areas being enforced; We are going to be utilizing the gym for space for the swimmers and parents to sit and hang-out during the swim meet!
- If you have a comfy chair at home- please bring it 🙂
- Parents can still come on deck and watch their swimmers, we would like for it to be a rotation-when your swimmer is swimming, you are on deck.. Otherwise, the gym is open for seating and swimmers to do recovery stretches post-race!
- The swimmers will rotate through the pool and gym being ushered by parent volunteers!
RIMA CHAMPIONSHIPs information:
- The Rip-Tides compete against other teams in the league at a Natatorium in Dartmouth, Mass. This is a phenomenal opportunity to get the swimmers the privilege to compete at a College pool, cheer on their teammates, win awards, and most of all, have fun!!
