Providence, R.I. – The oldest continuously-operating Boys & Girls Club in the country has expanded the endowment program it began just three years ago, strengthening its ability to positively impact the lives of local youth for years to come. The Boys & Girls Clubs of Providence, established in 1868, are pleased to announce the establishment of The Robert P. Brooks President’s Scholarship Endowment and The Solomon A. Solomon College Education Endowment. Each is managed by The Rhode Island Foundation and may be contributed to by members of the community.”
